Helping Hands

The mission of Helping Hands is to assist those with disabling illness, loss of employment, divorce or death with the repair, maintenance or renovating of their home. We also offer the following:
Financial Hardship/Foreclosure Initiative -- If the party being assisted has a letter from their lender stating they are in default of their mortgage, Helping Hands will do an extreme makeover providing there is equity in the home prior to the makeover based on a realtor appraisal. The purpose of the makeover is to prepare the home for sale and maximize on the equity so a “fresh start” for the homeowner is achieved.
Clean Slate Initiative – Each qualifying party is to enroll with a 501 (c) (3) non-profit credit counseling course with a certified credit counselor. Proof of enrollment is necessary before any project commences.
IMP – This does not mean you will be filing for bankruptcy. It is a protective action for the party’s future. Based on the circumstances leading to the hardship, Debtors Anonymous or similar recovery programs may be required for assistance.
