Hello, I’m Pastor Dave Gish,
Thank you for visiting our web site. If you’re looking for a church home we invite you to come and see what God is doing here at Hope Church. We are a Bible teaching Christian church with a congregation from a variety of church backgrounds and different parts of the country and areas of the world. Each week several hundred people gather here from a number of surrounding towns, seeking to live out God’s mission for our lives and our families within the context of modern day Fairfield County.
In this mission we are connecting to God and his family. We do this each Sunday through: heart felt worship, practical Biblical teaching, and loving fellowship.
We are secondly growing into the image of Christ by being transformed into his character and lifestyle. Believing this happens best through encouraging relationships and Bible study and application, we meet in small groups in homes, in men’s and women’s groups, marriage enrichment classes, and a variety of other options. There are growth and learning opportunities for you at Hope wherever you are in your journey of faith.
Alongside connecting and growing, we are also engaged in serving God by equipping people for meaningful ministry service in and outside the church. We want to help everyone make a difference in the world for God by utilizing and developing all the gifts and resources he has given them. You could find yourself playing bass in our worship band, mentoring a teenager, teaching a class of 2nd graders, caring for orphans in Ethiopia, praying for the needs of others, or leading a small group Bible study. Everyone has something to offer.
The fourth part of God’s mission we are involved in is leading others to follow Jesus, so all can come to know Him as their leader and forgiver. We do this through church outreach efforts, and regional ministry partnerships with Young Life, rescue missions, and church plants. We’re also involved in over 40 global mission partnerships bringing the love of Christ and the good news of the Gospel to every part of the world.
